About Sunspire Cafe

  Sunspire Cafe was founded by Hiromi and Mary — a husband-and-wife duo, proud parents of three, and the heart behind this mobile espresso bar.

Hiro brings over a decade of experience in coffee and hospitality. He crafts drinks with care — from espresso to matcha, teas, and lemonades — pouring not just coffee, but connection into every cup. Mary has years of customer service and working in the bartending industry and works behind the scenes, managing logistics, bookings, social media, marketing, curating Sunspire Café’s specialty drinks and operations to ensure everything runs smoothly so Hiro can focus on creating memorable experiences through his latte art.

Together, they are intentional about inclusivity and wellness, and curating specialty drinks and always considering dietary needs and preferences by offering options like low-sugar and dairy-free. Their hospitality is rooted in thoughtfulness and genuine connection.
 

Like espresso and oat milk, Hiro and Mary balance each other — he is grounded and quietly ambitious; she is spirited, curious, and full of fire. He dreams big, she makes things happen, and together they create with heart, hustle, and intention.

More than a business, Sunspire Cafe is a dream realized. Though the vision began with Hiro, it has grown into a shared family journey. As a multicultural family — Hiro is Japanese/Filipino and Mary is Filipino — they take pride in honoring their roots, sourcing ingredients aligned with their culture and values, and building something truly their own.

Originally from Queens, NY, and now raising their three children in New Jersey, Mary and Hiro serve events across NJ and NYC, bringing joy, connection, and a spark of inspiration to every gathering.
